From 4 to 12 January 2014 the 60th edition of the Show will be held at Excel, London.

James Corden launches Sunseeker

Talented actor and writer James Corden delighted crowds at the London Boat Show by launching the latest Sunseeker - in his socks! Tracey Clarke chats with him on the Sunseeker 75.

Launch of National Watersports Month

Four of the leading boating and watersports organisations have joined forces to encourage the UK to get active and on the water.

The British Canoe Union (BCU), British Marine Federation (BMF), British Rowing and the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) announced today the month of May is National Watersports Month.

Annamarie Phelps, Chairman of British Rowing, Jonathan Schofield, Go Canoeing, Etienne Stott, Olympic Gold medallist, men’s canoe slalom and Bryony Shaw, Olympic bronze medallist were all at the Show to encourage people on to the water.

Goodison on board with Ainslie

British sailor Paul Goodison is to sail with fellow Olympian Sir Ben Ainslie this year.

They’ll be competing in the Extreme Sailing Series which was launched in style at the London Boat Show.

Paul is looking forward to the series.

Sir Ben and Round the Island

The future of the Round the Island race has been secured today at the Show.

Title sponsors J.P.Morgan Asset Management confirmed they’re extending their current deal for two years.

The race is one of the largest of its kind in the world and attracts top sailing stars as well as cruising families.

Speaking at the launch Sir Ben Ainslie welcomed the news.

F1 Suzi Perry supports charity boat

Broadcaster Suzi Perry launched the very pink Williams Breast Cancer Care Turbojet 325 at the London Boat Show. The cause is close to Suzi's heart and she urged people to bid for the special craft.

RYA Yachtmaster of the Year

An investment banker from Holborn has been presented with a prestigious award from the Princess Royal at the London Boat Show.

Joseph MacDonald has been named the Royal Yachting Association’s Yachtmaster of the Year. Judges were impressed with his enthusiasm and awareness of safety on the water.


Sealine have appointed award winning British designer Bill Dixon to create a new range of innovative models, to be launched in the autumn of 2014.

Bill Dixon’s design studio is based on the South Coast.

The famous British motor yacht brand was bought by German boat builders, Hanse last year.

Navigators and General 60 years showing

Five main players in the boating world have been recognised for their dedication to the London Boat Show.
Companies including insurers Navigators and General who have been exhibiting since the show started 60 years ago have this year been given a prestigious award.

Flying Fish launches new model

Kent hovercraft company Flying Fish is launching a new model at the London Boat Show.

The two person Marlin three is built in Sandwich and exported around the world.
