Yeovil-based Double First Ltd is celebrating a 2016 Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

The award was presented by the Deputy Lord-Lieutenant for Somerset, Richard Case on Wednesday 28 September at the Haynes International Motor Museum.

Double First Ltd owes its success to its exceptional levels of growth in recent years, most significantly in the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions, with sales to international schools now comprising in excess of half of its total activity.

A Yeovil company has been awarded a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Double First is an education software company employing over forty people in Somerset and exporting its management systems to thirty three countries.

They received the award for International Trade from the Deputy Lord-Lieutenant for Somerset, Richard Case.

Richard Case, Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Somerset has applauded the hard work of a Yeovil company.

He congratulated Double First Ltd as he presented them with the Queen's Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

The company sells and supports its educational software, Engage, in 33 countries and is still growing.
