Push the Boat Out great success across the South and South East

The annual Push the Boat event run by the RYA has been another resounding success.

Around the UK over 17,000 people took to the water on and around the weekend of 17 and 18 May.

It's all part of National Watersports Month held during May.

Over 17,000 people took to the water on Push the Boat Out weekend (17-18 May).

The event, run by the RYA, was part of National Watersports Month.

260 Open days took place in RYA Clubs and Centres across the UK.

Sport Development manager at the RYA, Duncan Truswell urges everyone to get out on the water this weekend.

He was speaking just before the annual "Push the Boat Out" event - a weekend when over 200 clubs around the country open their doors to people of all ages and abilities.
