Day 2 of the Barclays Jersey Boat Show opened with more blue skies and celebrations by the crew of HMS Severn. The ship and its crew are this year's winner of the prestigious Jersey Cup.
The presentation was made to commanding officer, Lt Commander Reynolds by His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor of Jersey.
General Sir John McColl KCB, CBE, DSO also presented the Governor's Cup to Jersey's Air Training Squadron.
His Excellency then attended the annual Sea Sunday service, held in the open air, adjacent to the Boat Show. The Dean of Jersey blessed all of the boats in and around St Helier marina.
This is the last time Sir John McColl will attend the Barclays Jersey Boat Show as Lieutenant Governor and the Ports of Jersey offered their thanks for all his support during his time in office.
Following the presentations Tracey Clarke spoke to Lt Commander Reynolds, commanding officer of HMS Severn and asked how it felt to win the Jersey Cup
