A national charity is giving one young person the chance to compete in the world’s longest ocean race.
The Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation (ASSF) has been given a berth on one of the legs of the famous Clipper Round The World Race, from China to the USA.
Sir Ben Ainslie, one of the founding Trustees of the Foundation and Clipper Race Chairman, Sir Robin Knox Johnston, launched the competition at the PSP Southampton Boat Show.
