Disabled teenage sailor Natasha ‘Miss Isle’ Lambert will sail into the PSP Southampton Boat Show on Monday 15 September at 11.30am to be met and congratulated by Directors of the British Marine Industry, and senior figures in the marine industry, after her epic Sea and Summit challenge.
Natasha sails her 21ft boat, Miss Isle Too, only by breathing through a straw in a specially-engineered helmet designed by her dad Gary.
The incredible 17-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, sailed over 500 miles around the South West coast of England to Wales before, almost exactly one month after leaving her hometown of Cowes on the Isle of Wight (24 July,) swapping her boat for her special walking aid, called a Hart Walker, to climb Pen Y Fan, the highest peak in Southern Britain.
Natasha's boat will be at the Show from Monday until the close of Show and everyone is welcome to see the boat and meet Natasha.
Natasha's parents, Amanda and Gary Lambert revealed their feelings as Natasha completed her sail in Swansea and the mountain climb.
